Participants will connect an understanding of specially designed instruction to the implementation of the five structured teaching strategies, including: physical structure, visual schedules, work systems, visual supports, and visual structure of materials. This will provide the tools needed to begin creating a highly structured learning environment for students with autism spectrum disorder.
